A Style For Every Space – Explore Our All Collections Of Picture Frames
Not every picture frame suits every room, and not every room calls for the same style. Our picture frame range spans seven distinct moulding styles. From clean, minimal profiles designed for modern interiors to richly detailed finishes that command attention on any wall, each moulding style has its own character.
Whether you're framing a single statement piece or building out a gallery wall, we have a bunch of styles for your project. Each collection is available in a range of picture frame colours and standard sizes, with bespoke options available across the range.
Modern Picture Frames – The Plain Wide Range
Our Modern Picture Frames strike the perfect balance between bold and clean. With a solid 30mm MDF profile and a contemporary finish, these photo frames are designed to complement rather than compete. They let your artwork, photography, or print take the centre stage.

- Rebate: 5 to 6mm
- Available Colours: 26, the widest range across our entire collection

All photo frame sizes refer to the aperture, so a frame listed as A4 picture frames will fit an A4 image exactly.
Modern Sleek Picture Frames – The Plain Thin Range
Sometimes less really is more. Our Modern Sleek Picture Frames are designed for those who prefer their photo frames to sit quietly in the background and present, polished, but never distracting.
The slimmer 20mm MDF profile gives these photo frames a refined, understated look that works particularly well in minimalist interiors, smaller rooms, or anywhere you want the image itself to do the talking.
They're a popular choice for photography collections, typographic prints, and clean wall arrangements where the frames need to feel cohesive without drawing attention away from the display as a whole.
- MDF Width: 20mm, the slim profile and clean finish
- Depth: 15mm
- Rebate: 5 to 6mm

Classic Picture Frames – Timeless Design For Walls
Some styles never go out of fashion, and our Classic Picture Frames are exactly those. They are built on a timeless moulding profile that has suited homes, offices, and formal spaces for generations, and continues to do so.
With a 24mm MDF width, the profile sits comfortably between slim and bold. It gives it a versatility that few other styles can match. It's the kind of photo frame that works with almost anything you put inside it.
Whether you're displaying a family portrait, a printed certificate, a landscape painting, or wall art, the Classic photo Frame holds it all with quiet authority. The 15 colour options span a well-balanced range. It covers everything from clean whites and soft creams through to richer, deeper tones. This thing makes it easy to find something that feels at home in both modern and more traditional interiors.
Classic picture frames have the following overall specifications:
- MDF Width: 24mm wide balanced profile, neither too slim nor too bold.
- Depth: 15mm
- Rebate: 5 to 6mm

Modern Step Picture Frames – Clean Lines Moulding
There's something quietly distinctive about a stepped moulding. Our Modern Step Picture Frames feature a layered profile that adds a subtle sense of depth and dimension to the frame itself.
It is a small detail that makes a noticeable difference, particularly on larger prints or statement pieces. The 30mm MDF width gives them a solid, confident presence on the wall without tipping into decorative territory.
With three carefully chosen colours: white, dark grey, and black, this isn't a collection built for variety; it's built for precision.
The options available are clean, considered, and designed to complement both home interiors and more commercial display environments without looking out of place in either.
Modern Step Picture Frames come with the following specifications:
- MDF Width: Same as modern picture frames, 30mm wide moulding. It is a structured stepped profile with added visual depth.
- Depth: 15mm
- Rebate: 5 to 6mm
- Available Colours: Available in 3 colours (Black, White, and Dark Grey). It is a focused selection of clean, versatile finishes.
- Sizes: All standard UK sizes, plus made-to-measure.
- Best For: Statement prints, home interiors, commercial spaces, and display environments.
If you're after a photo frame that brings a little more character than a flat profile without going fully decorative, the Modern Step is well worth considering.
Swept Picture Frames – The Layered Bold Moulding Style
If you're looking for a frame that makes a genuine statement, the Swept collection is worth a close look. Swept picture frames are defined by their curved, flowing moulding profile.
Swept is a style rooted in traditional craftsmanship, long associated with fine art display, period interiors, and spaces where presentation carries real weight. At 50mm wide, these are the boldest moulding profiles in our range. These picture frames carry that width with an elegance that flat or stepped profiles can't replicate.
They're a natural choice for oil paintings, watercolour prints, and artwork reproductions where the frame is as much a part of the display as the piece itself.
This collection is available in two classic colours, Black and White. The Swept range keeps things focused because a frame this characterful doesn't need a long colour list to make an impression.
Swept Picture Frames come with the following specifications:
- MDF Width: The bold 50mm wide moulding. It is the widest profile in our range, with a distinctive curved moulding.
- Depth: 15mm
- Rebate: 5 to 6mm
- Available Colours: Available in 2 classic colours (Black and White).
- Sizes: Available in all standard UK sizes, plus custom sizes ordering options for non-standard dimensions.
- Best For: Oil paintings, watercolours, artwork reproductions, traditional interiors, and formal display settings.
Not every frame needs to blend in. For pieces that deserve a proper showcase, the Swept Frame gives them exactly that.
Ornate Gold Picture Frames – Elegant Vintage Style Frames
Some frames simply display artwork, while others add a sense of honour and presence. Our Ornate Gold Picture Frames are designed to do both.
This is the most decorative and distinctive moulding in our entire range. It has a richly detailed profile that ingrains any piece it surrounds with a sense of majesty and formality.
Where our other picture frames are built for versatility, the Ornate Gold is built for occasions where the presentation needs to feel genuinely special. At 33mm wide and 33mm deep, it's also the most substantial frame in the collection.
The depth of this moulding gives it such a commanding presence on the wall. It doesn't just sit flat; it projects. Moreover, it creates a layered, almost architectural effect that suits fine art, formal portraits, ornate mirrors, and statement display pieces particularly well.
It's also worth noting that the Ornate Gold is the only photo frame in our range crafted from Polcore Plastic rather than MDF wood. This material allows for the intricate moulding detail this style demands.
Ornate Gold Picture Frames come with the following specifications:
- Material: The ornate gold collection is made from Polcore Plastic. It is the only frame collection in our range made from this material, enabling fine decorative detail.
- MDF Width: It features a 33mm-wide moulding with a bold, ornate profile and significant wall presence.
- Depth: 33mm, the deepest frame in the collection
- Rebate: 5 to 6mm
- Available Colours: Only one colour, the Gold. A single, refined gold finish.
- Sizes: All standard UK sizes, plus made-to-measure.
- Best For: Fine art, formal portraits, ornate mirrors, period interiors, and statement display pieces.
There's a reason ornate gold photo frames have embellished galleries and grand interiors for centuries. This is a style that carries genuine heritage.
Frameless Clip Frames – The Perspex Display
Frameless clip frames are designed for a clean, minimal display that keeps the focus entirely on the image. With no moulding, no border, and no added depth, they present your artwork in a simple, clear way.
This thing makes them a great choice for bold photography, graphic prints, and modern digital art where sharp edges and colour matter. They are also practical for lighter displays or for quickly and easily changing prints.
Unlike traditional frames, clip frames have neither a rebate nor a structure. The perspex panel sits directly over the print and is secured with steel clips. It makes them lightweight, easy to use, and simple to hang or display.
Frameless Clip Frames come with the following specifications:
- Frame Type: Frameless, no moulding, no rebate, no depth.
- Construction: Clip-based design holding a perspex panel directly over the print.
- Available Colours: N/A, frameless design with no colour finish.
- Sizes: All standard UK sizes available.
- Best For: Photography, graphic prints, modern digital art, rotating displays, and minimalist interiors.
If the rest of our range is about choosing a frame to complement your image, clip frames take a completely different approach by removing the frame altogether.
What Size Picture Frame Do I Need For My Space?
Getting the right size is the most important step when ordering a picture frame. It is simpler than it might seem once you understand how our sizing works.
Every photo frame in our range is sized by its aperture. It means the size listed is the size of the image it's designed to hold. So if you're looking for an A4 Picture Frame, it will fit an A4 print precisely. If you need a 20x16" Picture Frame, it will hold a 20x16" image.
There's no guesswork involved; the number you see is the number you need.
Inside every photo frame, a small rebate of 5 to 6mm sits around the inner edge. This is an intentional standard of the construction. It is what holds the mount, perspex, and backing board securely in place. The rebate works internally, so it has no impact on the image size the frame is built to display.
We stock frames across all standard UK sizes, including:
Note:These are the most popular picture frame sizes. We have a very wide range of standard picture frame sizes in A, imperial, and metric sizes.
If your print doesn't match a standard size, whether it's an unusual canvas, a custom photograph, or a piece of artwork with non-standard dimensions, you can order a custom-sized picture frame according to your needs under our made-to-measure service.
Before placing your order, always measure your image at its longest and widest points. If you're using a mounted print, the image size determines the picture mount aperture, while the mount's outer size is based on the photo frame size.
How Our Photo Frames Are Made and Built for Quality
When you're investing in picture frames, whether for a single display piece or an entire wall, the quality of the construction matters. Here's a straightforward look at how our photo frames are put together and why it matters.
Most of our photo frames are made from MDF, chosen for its strength and reliability. It stays stable over time, resists warping, and provides a smooth surface that holds colour and finish consistently.
Each photo frame also includes a rebate along the inner edge, usually around 5-6mm deep. This inner channel securely holds the picture mount, acrylic glazing, and backing board.
In terms of depth, our frames are built with the following profiles:
- Most styles: 15mm depth, including Modern, Modern Sleek, Classic, Modern Step, and Swept frames.
- Ornate Gold Frames: 33mm depth, reflecting the more substantial and decorative nature of the moulding.
- Frameless Clip Frames: no depth or moulding; the perspex panel sits directly over the print, held in place by the clips.
It's also worth noting that the Ornate Gold is the only frame in our range made from Polcore Plastic rather than MDF. Finish quality is the final piece of the picture.
A well-applied finish doesn't just affect how a frame looks on day one. Moreover, it determines how well it holds up over time.
